Tomah, Wisconsin. Former nurse’s aid James G. Doeslaere’s bond was set for $20,000 Friday. Doeslaere is charged with sexually assaulting a 73-year-old, female Alzheimer’s patient at Rolling Hills Nursing Home, where he has worked for the past five years. The advanced stage of disease makes it so the victim is unable to communicate; she was sent to Gundersen Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse for a full sexual assault examination. Monroe County District Attorney Dan Cary declined to comment on previous allegations against Doeslaere from 1996 which are now being further investigated.
