Retrial Continues in Nursing Home Death

El Dorado - Only four jurors were seated today for the retrial of a Fordyce nursing home worker charged with capitalmurder. Gayla Smith Wilson is facing trial in El Dorado, where sheis charged with beating an 81-year-old woman to death to teach her “a lesson.”
A trial last year ended with a hung jury.The defense contends the woman really responsible is ShermikaRainey, who testified against Wilson during her first trial. Rainey pleaded guilty to conspiracy last year and was sentenced to 30 years.
