DA Investigates Nursing Home Abuse Allegations

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The Beaver County District Attorney’s Office is investigating allegations of physical and mental abuse of nursing home patients by employees.
Officials said former employees of the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center reported that in one incident a supervisor would draw caricatures of patients and make fun of them after offering patients frozen bagels.
