Be an ombudsman for seniors’ rights

Angels wanted: Earn your wings. No pay, but extremely gratifying.
That is the battle cry of the New York Foundation for Senior Citizens, which is urgently seeking 200 volunteer ombudsmen to look out for seniors living in nursing homes, adult residences and assisted living facilities throughout the city.
Compassionate volunteers of any background are needed to go into nursing homes and senior facilities to make sure the residents are being treated fairly and appropriately and are receiving quality care.
