Nurse’s aide charged with abusing nursing home resident

Muskegon, MI - A nurse’s aide is charged with assaulting an 85-year-old patient in a Muskegon nursing home. Laticia Brown faces one count of “patient abuse” for the events of last summer.

What happened behind the doors of the Roosevelt Park nursing home depends on who you believe. The attorney general says Brown “repeatedly” struck the patient’s head over the course of four months. The nursing home’s new management, which took over after the incident, says the senior was “tapped” and “suffered no harm.”
