Nursing Home Employee Indicted

Friday, October 7th, 2005.

Cynthiana, KY - An employee at a northern Kentucky nursing home was indicted Thursday for allegedly abusing two disabled residents in June 2004. Marsha Doolin, 22, was indicted on two counts of felony wanton abuse of residents at the Grand Haven Nursing Home in Cynthiana on June 21, 2004.

The indictment said the alleged abuses occurred several hours apart. Doolin forcibly dragged a blind, mentally retarded male resident backwards in his wheelchair, the indictment said, even though his fingers were going in and out of the spokes.
