Tough line for nursing homes: Attorney General Bill Lockyer slams a chain with a new court injunction

Carmichael, CA - An investigation stretching over four years costing millions of dollars and a permanent court injunction were not enough to get one large nursing home chain to clean up its act, state investigators say.
So, they hit it again.
Attorney General Bill Lockyer is continuing to hammer at the Sun Healthcare Group - once the state’s largest nursing home chain - with a second court injunction to improve patient care.
