Nursing home passes inspection

Hanover, IN - The state Health Department removed the “immediate jeopardy” designation from Hanover Nursing Center last week after the nursing home passed the state’s inspection.
The designation, which would have resulted in the loss of Medicare and Medicaid funding if it had remained in place, was imposed after the nursing home reported to the state that it had learned that a resident had been abused by an employee. The employee and about eight others were fired.
