Wednesday, November 16th, 2005.

Pittsburgh, PA — Target 11 investigated the issue of missing money at a nursing home.

A nurse’s aide was fired after more than $8,000 turned up missing from a resident’s bank account. Where she is working now raises serious questions. The nurse’s aide worked at the Southwestern Veterans Center in Pittsburgh.

The Southwestern Veteran’s Center in Pittsburgh is home to more than 200 aging veterans, including a 75-year old man bedridden with Parkinson’s disease and no family to look out for him.
