Charges dropped in nursing home sex assault case

Friday, November 18th, 2005.

Berlin, MD - Charges against 20-year-old Michael Jermain Bolling, the Salisbury man accused of sexually assaulting a 91-year-old nursing home patient, have been dropped due to insufficient evidence.

The case was heard on Nov. 10 in Snow Hill’s District Court and, according to the State’s Attorney Office, it was dismissed because there was not enough proof against Bolling to prosecute him on any of the charges. However, the matter is still under investigation by the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation.
