Three nurses accused of neglecting patient

Edwardsville, IL — Two nurses from Glen Carbon and one from Collinsville were accused in an indictment Thursday of neglecting a long-term care patient who was suffering from diabetes and eventually lost a leg.

Patricia Revelle, 35, and her mother, Rose Revelle, 69, both of Glen Carbon, and Linda Dellamano, 51, of Collinsville were charged with criminal neglect.

They were nurses at Collinsville Care Center when an 83-year-old East St. Louis man was admitted for a two-week period and was rushed to the emergency room shortly after he was released because he had gangrene of his left foot.
