Nursing Home Neglect?

Boston, MA - “I honest to God believed he was going to get better.”
Mary Curry thought her husband Lou would make a full recovery after hip replacement surgery. “I really thought he was going to get good care.”
But she says the care he got was far from good at Walpole’s Harrington House Nursing and Rehab Center. The eighty-two year old was admitted to Harrington House with a small bedsore, about the size of a silver dollar, on November 28, 2001.
Mary says three weeks later, under the care of this facility, that bedsore almost quadrupled in size. It became infected and Lou Curry developed Fournier’s Gangrene.
