Woman cleared of abuse charge

Iron Mountain, MI – A Kingsford woman was found not guilty Tuesday of abusing a nursing home resident.
After two days of testimony, the six-member jury deliberated about 30 minutes before returning the verdict in Dickinson County District Court. Janice Marie Dalsanto, 43, had been charged with the abuse of a 99-year-old resident of HCR Manorcare of Kingsford in March 2005.
