Former Nursing Assistant Charged With Abusing Nursing Home Patient

Thursday, February 16th, 2006.

Chesterrown, MD - A former geriatric nursing assistant at Chester River Manor, located in Chestertown, has been charged with abusing one of the nursing home’s patients.

According to the Maryland Office of the Attorney General’s, Donishia Wilson, 22, of Potts Road in Worton, Md., was charged in the Circuit Court for Kent County, Md., with one count of second-degree abuse of a vulnerable adult, one count of second-degree neglect of a vulnerable adult, and one count of second-degree assault in connection with an incident that occurred on Feb. 5, 2005.
