Older Iowans Legislature works for the rights and interests of Iowa’s senior citizens

How can Iowa’s senior citizens get the attention of the state’s legislators? One way is to support and participate in the Older Iowans Legislature. Bonnie Shannon, Missouri Valley, serves as the body’s secretary.
The Older Iowans Legislature was created as an advocacy group for the less fortunate, principally to try to keep elderly Iowans in their homes as long as possible and to advocate for better nursing home and other services for seniors.
