Former Nursing Home Worker Sentenced; Victims’ Families Upset With Judge’s Decision

Dedham, MA – A former nurse’s aid was sentenced on Tuesday for abusing Alzheimer’s patients at a Franklin facility.

NewsCenter 5′s Amalia Barreda reported that Bernadette Stackpole, 54, pleaded guilty earlier this month to 10 counts of assault and battery. Stackpole admitted to abusing patients who ranged in age from 75 to 105 years old at the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she worked.
