Nursing Homes Settle Lawsuit

Bakersfield, CA – A company that runs three nursing homes in Bakersfield has settled a lawsuit with the State Attorney General’s Office.
Pleasant Care must immediately improve the care of its residents and must pay $1 million in civil penalties.
Pleasant Care oversees 30 facilities across the state and three of them in Kern County.
