Austin, TX - Before he was charged in the Hill Country monastery case, Samuel Greene was staying at an Austin nursing home, a home that just evicted him after the new charges.

But he’s not the only sex offender living in close quarters with your loved ones.

In a KXAN investigation, Jenny Hoff found out just how close criminals are to society’s most vulnerable.

A Perfect Cause is a non-profit organization fighting to get sex offenders and other criminals out of nursing homes. Wes Bledsoe started investigating nursing homes after his own grandmother died from abuse in one.
