Watsonville police probe report of neglect in nursing home

Watsonville, CA – Police are looking into possible neglect of an elderly woman in a Watsonville nursing home.
The 68-year-old woman was admitted to Watsonville Community Hospital’s emergency room Saturday about 3 p.m. by members of her family, police Capt. Eddie Rodriguez said.
The nursing staff in the emergency room saw symptoms of possible neglect and called police, Rodriguez said. The woman showed signs of not being changed regularly and had sores, he said.
