2 Local Nursing Home Workers Charged with Abuse

Lansing, MI - The state has charged two Hillsdale County nursing home workers with abuse. Attorney General Mike Cox charged Laura Tackett, a registered nurse at the Litchfield Nursing Centre, with two counts of patient abuse. He also charged her and Mary Tamlyn, Litchfield’s former administrator, with two counts of failing to report patient abuse. The AG’s office says abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.
