In June, a male certified nursing assistant molested an 83-year-old woman, a stroke victim, in her bed at TimberRidge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center off State Road 200.

He was hurting her badly and telling her it was supposed to feel good. She shouted: “Stop what you are doing and get the hell out of my room.”

He stopped, threw the covers on her and left in a hurry.

She told her regular CNA what had happened and the CNA brought in another assistant to hear the story.

Together they told the floor nurse, and she initiated a complaint.

Ocala, FL – The nurse called 911, right? So police could check out the allegation and order a medical exam.

Nope, she filed an internal report within the 180-bed nursing home. After that, an assistant director of nursing – the attacker’s supervisor – questioned her, but the victim wouldn’t give her the full story.
