Jackson, MS - If you suspect someone in a nursing home or licensed care facility is being abused, neglected or exploited, call the Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, 1 800-852-8341 or (601) 359-4220; the Mississippi Department of Health, division of licensure and certification, 1-800-227-7308; or the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, 1-800-948-3090 or 1-800-345-6347.
If the person is in a private home, call one of these numbers: the Mississippi Department of Human Services, 1-800-222-8000, or the Attorney General’s Vulnerable Adult Unit, (601) 359-4158 or fax information to (601) 359-4420.
