Mandeville lawmaker calls for probe of nursing home slaying

Mandeville, LA - A St. Tammany legislator has called on the state for an immediate investigation into last week’s beating death of a resident at a Mandeville nursing home.
Karoline Glover, a71-year-old woman with a history of dementia is believed to have clubbed 95-year-old Bernice Mayeaux to death in their room at the Pontchartain Health Care Center last week.
