Worker at nursing home held in thefts

Encinitas, CA – A nursing home worker has been jailed on suspicion of stealing credit cards and personal items from four residents over several months, sheriff’s officials said….
…Investigators believe [Patricia] Taienao started stealing from the residents Sept. 28, and later used their credit cards to make purchases at several Oceanside stores and restaurants near El Camino Real and state Route 78, sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Serritella said.
