Waxahachie, TX - A former office manager at Renfro Healthcare Center in Waxahachie has been indicted, accused of stealing money from the center’s residents, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott’s office announced Friday.

An Ellis County grand jury charged Judy C. Putman, of Blooming Grove, Texas, with diverting funds that belonged to 110 residents into a trust fund bank account. Ms. Putman then allegedly forged 145 checks written on that account for a total of $356,650 – a first-degree felony.
