Pleasant Care nursing home in Corona sued after resident’s death

Monday, April 9th, 2007.

Riverside, CA – The daughter of a Corona nursing-home resident has sued the owners, accusing them of compromising the 86-year-old woman’s care, which resulted in her death after a fire.

Maria Ybarra died at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton four days after the fire. She lived at Pleasant Care Convalescent & Assisted Living of Corona, on Circle City Drive, between Sept. 28, 2006, and Feb. 17, 2007, the day of the fire.
