Nursing home troubles escalate; Worst-possible ratings for patient care surge

Phoenix, AZ - It’s a growing problem in Arizona nursing homes: Conditions so alarming that state inspectors will not leave until the troubles are fixed.
Inspectors have discovered elderly patients suffering because they don’t get the right medicine and seniors living in fear of reprisals from abusive employees. The number of Arizona nursing homes found to be in that kind of “immediate jeopardy” has spiked in the past two years.
