Nursing Home Corporation Indicted In Resident Death

Cambridge, MA – A nursing home corporation has been indicted in the 2004 death of a woman who lived in their Acton facility.
Attorney General Martha Coakley says Tennessee-based Life Care Centers of America is charged with manslaughter, abuse and neglect of a long-term care resident.
The company is also accused of making a false Medicaid claim in connection with the death of 74-year-old Julia McCauley.
