State posts nursing home inspection data online

Albany, NY - The state Department of Health is making it easier for people to keep on top of nursing homes. Beginning this week, the health department began putting results of state inspections on its Web site — nursinghomes.nyhealth.gov.
Visitors to the site will be able to see deficiencies of any nursing home in the state and the severity of its shortcomings.
