Portage nursing home under fire; state says resident molested

Ravenna, OH - A frail female resident at the Portage County-owned nursing home was molested on numerous occasions by a visitor, and administrators failed to protect her from the assaults, a state investigation has found.
The Ohio Department of Health is recommending severe financial penalties for The Woodlands at Robinson including a loss of federal Medicaid and Medicare payments that could jeopardize the future of the facility.
