Charges considered in nursing-home abuse case

Ravenna, OH – Criminal charges are being considered after state health investigators determined that a frail resident of a county-owned nursing home was sexually abused by a visitor.
Ohio Department of Health investigators visited The Woodlands at Robinson facility in mid-August to look into the abuse allegation and concluded that a male visitor sexually abused a female resident Aug. 4 in her room. The woman has difficulty moving her arms and legs and is forgetful, the state report said.
