Death Results In Lawsuit At Nursing Home

Chicago, IL – A lawsuit has been filed against Manor Care of Oak Lawn about neglect and abuse that resulted in death.
The family of Helen Edwards, a resident at Manor Care, 9401 S. Kostner Ave., from Oct. 5 to Nov. 26, 2005, has filed a lawsuit against the nursing home facility.
The four-count lawsuit — survival action, wrongful death act, negligence-survival, and negligence wrongful death — also seeks $200,000 in damages plus attorney’s fees.
