Former Nursing Home Worker Appears In Court

Middletown, OH – A former nursing home janitor appeared Tuesday in court to face sex abuse charges.
Steven Swem, 35, is accused of having sexual contact with two residents and two rehabilitation patients at the Residence of Kensington Place in Middletown.
The parent company of the nursing home said Swem was fired as soon as they realized there was a problem, and Swem admitted to abusing the patients and told News 5 that he was seeking treatment.
