2 Georgia nursing homes labeled underperformers

Atlanta, GA – Two Georgia nursing homes have been told they’re among the worst in the country, according to federal data released Thursday.
The Place at Augusta and Shoreham of Marietta were cited for deficiencies and were listed on the Web site of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. They were among 54 nursing homes in 33 states and the District of Columbia that didn’t improve the quality of patient care or administrative services over the last year, the report said.
