Two Oklahoma nursing homes make list of 54 worst in country

Oklahoma City, OK – An administrator whose Oklahoma City nursing home made the list of the 54 worst centers for patient care in the nation vows to ensure proper care for residents and adherence to the rules.
Barbie Harter said today — her first day on the job — that any problems at Northwest Nursing Center may have will be addressed. She also says she looks forward to proving her facility is a good one.
Northwest Nursing Center and Pawhuska Nursing Home in Pawhuska were placed on the list by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as a way to goad homes into improving patient care.
