Nursing home nurse accused of taking meds intended for patient

Keene, NH – A nursing home nurse from Vermont is accused in New Hampshire of taking narcotics that had been prescribed for a resident.

Stephanie Wood Brattleboro has been indicted on one charge of unlawfully possessing a controlled drug and attempted abuse of a resident.

The Cheshire County indictment charges that Wood, while working as a nurse at the Good Shepherd Nursing Center in Jaffrey, took at least 11 narcotic pills that were prescribed for a resident.
