Former employee says patients avoided man later accused of rape

Sandusky, OH – A woman who worked at a nursing home where a night shift nurse is accused of raping a paralyzed man said Friday that some patients refused to take their medications to avoid being alone with the nurse.
“We’ve had several residents, they don’t want him touching them, they don’t want him in their room,” said Cynthia Wilson, 47, a nurse aide who was fired from the Concord Care and Rehabilitation Center in December. “A lot of them would refuse their meds just to keep him out of their room.”
