Riems may have abused 23 more at nursing home

Perkins Township, OH – A nurse accused of rape for sexually touching a partially paralyzed 55-year-old man might have sexually abused at least 23 more people in the nursing home where he worked, according to Perkins police.
The investigation of registered nurse John R. Riems unfolded yesterday as Perkins police Chief Tim McClung and Erie County Prosecutor Kevin Baxter held a press conference with Lloyd S. Early, special agent in charge of Ohio Attorney General’s health care fraud section.
