Timbercreek fined for infractions

Pekin,IL - A Pekin nursing home has been fined for some of the most serious licensure violations imposed by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
The state health department on Wednesday issued a list of nursing home violations for June 2007.
Timbercreek Rehab and Healthcare, 2220 State St., Pekin, was fined $20,000 for allowing two certified nursing assistants with findings of abuse on the Health Care Worker Registry to work at the facility. One of the CNAs ultimately broke the arm of a 74-year-old woman living at the facility, IDPH records show.
