Nursing home bill cuts patients’ legal redress

Once again the nursing home industry has proposed legislation to protect itself from the consequences of less than quality care in our long-term care facilities, familiarly known as nursing homes. House bill 4053 and Senate bill 4075 summaries can be found at http://www.legislature.state.tn.us/bills. Every Tennessean, seniors and their families, should be aware and concerned about the points of this proposed legislation.
