Callao woman arrested for switching meds

Callao, MO – A Callao woman has been charged with the theft of medications belonging to a patient at a Macon nursing home.

According to Macon Police Chief Steve Olinger, the department received a report of the alleged theft.

An investigation into the report found that the nursing home employee had switched medications of a patient for an over-the-counter pain reliever.
