Death at C.M. Tucker: Feds Allege Constitutional Violations at State-Run Nursing Home in Columbia

Columbia, SC - Residents of a Columbia nursing home that the S.C. Department of Mental Health operates have suffered preventable deaths, injuries and illnesses because the department failed to provide them with adequate care.

Running afoul of generally accepted professional standards, the inadequate care violated rights of the residents outlined in the Constitution and federal law.
