Arizona Phoenix, AZ - Less than a year after state health officials uncovered serious violations at a state-run nursing home for veterans, a new report released Friday revealed that poor care since then has led to injuries among several residents. Bed sores weren't properly taken care of on some residents, causing the sores to get worse. Residents at risk of falling weren't given the appropriate help or supervision, leading to fractured hips, stitches and other injuries. One resident fell 18 times in slightly more than four months, the report said.
