Nurse aide accused of sexually abusing nursing home resident

A certified nurse aide has been accused of sexually abusing a physically disabled resident of a Utica nursing home. State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman’s office announced today that its Medicaid Fraud Control Unit filed a nine-count indictment against John Tamba, 48, of Utica, formerly employed at Focus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
