Pa. reviews nursing home rules amid sharp decline in enforcement: See the data

The Auditor General and the Department of Health launched separate inquiries as a result of a lawsuit filed last month by the Attorney General’s Office that alleged inadequate care, poor training and understaffing at 14 “Golden Living” nursing homes operated by Golden Gate National Senior Care. Those allegations stemmed from incidents that took place between 2008 and 2014.
